Maryland Day 2006 on Flickr post a comment
So I finally decided to load some of my photographs onto Flickr. As far as the service goes, I don’t really like the interface (kinda clunky and confusing) but what can you do. In the future, I may switch to Zooomr because of the less restrictive features on their free accounts. The only problem is that it currently doesn’t allow you to organize photos into albums or to upload many photos at once.
List of WAMPs (Link) post a comment
So today I wasted a lot of time trying to install AMP (Apache, MySQL, PHP) on my Windows XP Home Edition desktop. Instead of configuring each one, I found that there’s packages out there that install all three of them (as well as phpMyAdmin) in one shot. Wikipedia was very helpful in this investigation.
The Office, “Drug Testing” post a comment
They finally aired a new episode of The Office! Although this one wasn’t nearly as good as the previous two (“Michael’s Birthday” and “Bring Your Daughter to Work Day”), it’s still a lot better than most of the stuff on TV. Like my previous blog entry, I’ll be listing my favorite parts of the episode and post a few screenshots too. (Warning: Spoilers ahead!)
- Dwight dressed as a volunteer sheiff’s deputy.
- “Dwight finding drugs is more dangerous than most people using drugs.”
- “Stop! This is not Kelly Kapour Story Hour!”
- “I don’t think Michael’s ever done drugs. I don’t know if anyone’s ever offered him any.”
- “Have you ever…pooped a balloon?”
- Dwight’s interview getting taken over by Jim.
- “I do not think that is funneh.”
- “It has to be official. And it has to be urine.”
- “Kevin, what perscription drugs are you taking, besides Rogaine?”
- “Mine was green.”
- “I need your urine.”
- “I want him to have all the urine he needs.”
- Volunteer Sheriff’s Deputy –> Official Security Supervisor of Dunder-Mifflin, Scranton Branch (actually, an Honorary Volunteer Corporal in charge of assisting all activities security)
- “I’ll have to bring in my bo staff.” “I don’t think so.”
Free Samples (Link) post a comment
Everyone could use free stuff. These come from Walmart, so it’s reputable. I’ve gotten a few things from the site in the past (some pasta sauce, detergent, and fabric softener). Be sure to check back at the site every once in a while since the available products change occasionally.
Blingo FTW! 3 comments
This is my second time winning a prize at Blingo.com. Both times have now been free movie tickets.
And no. Blingo is not a scam of any kind. They just add a couple text ads to the top of Google results. In return, you sometimes get a free prize.
