This is my second time winning a prize at Blingo.com. Both times have now been free movie tickets.
And no. Blingo is not a scam of any kind. They just add a couple text ads to the top of Google results. In return, you sometimes get a free prize.

Make sure to check that you are logged into Blingo every once in a while or it won’t be reported in your account (and I won’t get my referral prize! hehe).

Obviously I’ve been losing out not using Blingo for the 800,000 searches I do everyday. One reason why is because I use the “I’m feeling lucky” off of Firefox’s Address Bar, cus that’s the standard function if you just type in any collection of words and 90% of the time the first hit answers my question.
To fix this, I used the configuration info here with Firefox’s about:config editor to change that behavior. If I don’t win more now I will be very sad.
