Which Universities Have the Most Gamers?   1 comment

I guess we’re just talking about World of Warcraft here, but apparently UMD is #12 in schools that play WoW. It’s probably a combination of sheer student population and the good CS (computer science, not Counter-Strike!) program. The only problem I see here is that it’s not really official. It’s just some site stats of a popular WoW site.

Overall, I’m not sure what to think of this ranking.

Graduation Ceremony Fun   2 comments

During the CMPS graduation, Todd and I were not enjoying the horrendous advertisements and acoustics of the Armory building. As a result, I am pleased to present you the culmination of four years of college education…haikus.

Computer Science.
Advertisements for me too.
I like the echos.

All the cardboard hats.
If this was a sci-fi place,
It would be tinfoil.

The goofy outfits.
I wish I had a cape too.
I’d be Superman.

Just so many names.
Clapping after every one.
This will take a while.

Congrats to the Class of 2006.

Maryland Day 2006 on Flickr   post a comment

Maryland Day at FlickrSo I finally decided to load some of my photographs onto Flickr. As far as the service goes, I don’t really like the interface (kinda clunky and confusing) but what can you do. In the future, I may switch to Zooomr because of the less restrictive features on their free accounts. The only problem is that it currently doesn’t allow you to organize photos into albums or to upload many photos at once.

Class Websites   1 comment

Since I’m working on another website for AAST298G (Asian-American Foodways), I decided to show everyone what I’ve made through the years. I gotta admit that these are kinda ugly, in terms of color and code, but content is what counts! Too bad the content isn’t that great either. Heh.

Let me know what you think. :)
